Per SRS and Fightful, here’s what’s known so far:

>Punk will debut at Survivor Series in a match against Shinsuke
>The plan is for Punk to win this match, then announce that he’s entering the Rumble. Punk will then have either a rematch with Shinsuke or a match with Rollins.
>Punk is “120%” winning the Rumble
> The plan is then for a short storyline with the Judgment Day leading to Punk vs Roman at Mania

Punk is said to be “extremely excited” about the return and Endeavor executives view him as “A major piece” of WWE going forward. That’s not to say everything is perfect, however, as Punk has apparently laid out a few rules:

>No storylines with Miz
>Punk and Johnny Gargano are not to be on the same card, as Punk views him as “Elite adjacent”. Likewise, Punk’s matches are never to be produced by Drew Gulak, who is close with several AEW talent including Orange Cassidy and Chuck Taylor.
>Punk has a small measure of creative control in his contract, including the ability to veto match endings and his match placement on the show.
