Punk, whether you love him or hate him, can cut a fucking promo.
So this moment was waaay too big for Hangman. So Hangman tries to out Punk Punk, and Punk saw it as an unprofessional dig because the rules were clear, Hangman would be the wrestler, Punk would be the talker.
Next thing you know Punk is working himself into a shoot trying to Buckshot Lariat and doing maneuvers he was never really known for, then going MMA when that failed.
Now Punk is gone having egg on his face for being a try hard, and the pendulum turned back on Hangman as all the goodwill from the fans has run dry and it's a case of what have you done for me lately, because it sure isn't delivering a great promo, or program for that matter
Everyone lost, but because Punk is no doubt happier away from this shit orgy time will show he's won. There's already interest to see Punk return.... AGAIN. As for Hangman, he can't seem to get out the starting gate. Kenny's AEW career has been pretty tame. Hangman's is just sad and forgetful.
