Bret marks never used to be like this because most Bret marks didn't go around blowing Bret from the rooftops the way they do now. To be fair Shawn marks didn't do this either. It used to be just two groups of wrestlers that were inspired by those two and never mentioned them by name, but only one of these groups were passively destroying wrestling. It wasn't until it was clear what Shawn marks had done to wrestling that these smug Bret marks started to come out of the woodwork to try and use it as a defense.
