Ok AEWbros it's hard to admit but this one guy is more over than our entire company. BUT there's a huge upside for us here. We just need to figure out how he got over and then have every wrestler on AEW do it.

It's unbelievable how terrible this company is at booking, though I'm sure this was all Punk. Darby was already at a point during this time where it was completely believable he could get one over on Punk in a match. He was no 1-2-3 Kid.

he doesnt have the grace of form for his mid match facial theatrics to carry all that much weight

hes just too fucking small, and not dynamic enough--hes not springy at all

hes also not quite big enough to look like a technician imo. when I see punk going for an adjustment on a grab or something, I dont think, oh what is he doing? I think, oh, what is Punk pretending to do?

more power to him, but damn. wish he had a bit more size or spring so it wouldnt sound like Im straight hating.

Yeah nobody cares. AEW is where it's at due to the 5+ star matches. Can Eli Drake get an entire arena and the fans watching on tv invested in a match while telling a story in the ring? I didn't think so.
