>>12126833>Compating Jericho to HoganLmao. Hogan drew more money in his worst ever year than Jericho did in his entire career combined. He basically saved professional wrestling and at one time was the sixth most recognisable man on the planet.
Zoomers don't understand how big Hulkamania was because they live in a world where media is so fragmented now that nothing is as big as it was back then. Hogan was bigger than Taylor Swift. Hogan was an Avengers Endgame type cultural phenomenon. He wasn't pretty big, everybody in the world knew who Hogan was. It was the US President, the Russian Premier, Michael Jackson, Michael Jordan, Harrison Ford and then Hulk Hogan in terms of recognisability. People in Eastern Europe who lived under communism and had no access to US TV or film knew who Hulk Hogan was. People dying or starvation in remote African villages knew who Hulk Hogan was. He was an Americana icon at that time.
Yes the Rock has had a better career in the mainstream but he'll never be as famous as Hogan was because its not possible for anybody on Earth to be as famous as people were in the late 80s and 90s. This is why I Love Lucy got 160m viewers and nobody will ever get that now. That's how big Hulk was.
Jericho was an upper midcarder for the WAE for a bit. That's basically it. Oh and he did some TV shows nobody watches. Comparing a cultural phenomenon like Hulkamania to Jericho is the stupidest thing I've ever read from these dumb fucks.
