>>12130156>>12130180>>12130206Definitely only with the younger demo, and it's turning off a lot of the left. I almost exclusively get my news from the NYT, they're liberal/left as fuck but I know what to expect from them. I constantly troll the comment sections and 1/2 of my comments aren't approved, another 25% are removed after enough people report them. They're nowhere near 4chan-tier comments, just unpolitically correct opinions that 75% of people would say in their own homes. All that to say, NYT commenters are very progressive and left leaning, and most comments, especially the highest rated ones, are basically stupid libtards whining about Trump and Republicans.
There are two trends I've noticed in the last year. One, all articles about illegal immigrants have nearly everyone in favor of closing the border in the comment sections despite the NYT doing all it can to couch it in the most positive terms (and the commenters calling their bullshit out in the comments, and getting highly upvoted for it).
Two... most commenters are in support of Israel. Check the comment section here, they're actually calling Republicans "right" on the issue:
https://www.nytimes.com/2023/11/01/us/politics/republicans-israel-war-protests-college-campuses.htmlThe point is, there is a very small demo within the Democrat party that supports this shit (the Palestine excuse making), and the majority of Democrats are very against it. Fun to see some in-party infighting, since the people who love muh poor oppressed brown Palestinians are primarily
>they/thems>faggots/LGBTQ>brown people>muslims>armpit-haired girls with stupid color hair, tattoos, and piercings all overThe very same types to support BLM and all that other bullshit. Can't wait for all the zoomers to sit out in 2024, and most normie Dems to sit out as well, resulting in a Trump 2024 victory so we can finally close the fucking border again and stop caving in to the demands of the mentally ill.
