Okay, so here's what I think. The last PPV of the year is in his hometown. He'll win his defense and cut a promo saying that there won't be a bidding war of 2024 because he's already re-signed. He'll then cut a promo about how much he loves AEW and then say something directly into the camera that they can use in the commercials like "We are A (pause) E (pause) W." I don't think he's leaving.

Why would he keep working in a dying company instead of going to WWE and getting a guaranteed spot somewhere on the Wrestlemania card? MJF wanted to be a fucking broadway performer. He has ambitions of fame, he wants to be a somebody, so he won't keep slumming it on the small stage when he could go be an actual star where it matters.

This is what I think. If he left aew Dynamite would probably lose 150k viewers right off the bat. What does Mox make, something like 6 milly? MJF will probably get close to 7 milly from Tony and I don't think WWE would go that high just to cut into AEW's ratings. He's worth a lot more to Aew than any pop in the ratings WWE would get.

He re-signed a year ago, that's why he has the long title reign and why they're doing a PPV on 30th December in his home town called Worlds' End where the story will be "MJF could win and leave with the title".
