The capital costs, setting up and recording episodes including agendas, actually recording the entire podcasts.

Cornette has kept himself relevant and profitable in the wrestling business for nearly 50 years. There is nobody from his generation who still has the name value that he does without taking a single bump and his podcast is highly successful.
Nobody can engage an audience like Cornette and that's what he does. He has an audience, he's tuned in to their brand of entertainment and he presents that to them for money.
In terms of longevity, the money he makes, the "brand" awareness of Cornette etc, he's probably the most successful non-wrestler in the history of the wrestling business who is not named Vince McMahon or Dave Meltzer.
He's a filter. You know who is smart and stupid based on their opinion of Cornette.

After WCW went under, there was a big court case a few years later where loads of wrestler contracts and other stuff came out in discovery. Hopefully something similar will happen with AEW, where we get to see just how much money Tony has pissed away.
