This is the same exact shit people were posting when I first got back into wrestling and was posting on /wwe/ on /sp/. That was like 8-9 years ago. WWE is still going strong. Sure, they would love to have a breakout star again...but they don't need it. WWE as a brand can and has carried itself. Vince was right again

It's shit because of Vince. All of the stars got buried because Vince gave them shit gimmicks, killed them, and gave their push to Coconut Community Theater. People are so starved for something new, they are popping for LA Knight and Zayn. They have tons of dudes that can work right now and they have tons of stars, but you don't know that because all you've seen are 10 years of shit promos and slogging in-ring movement from Roman.

About business, sure. It makes sense to push a mediocre dude that you can surround with marketing that's just good enough to get over with piped in crowd noise and a massive media push instead of pushing dudes that could leave for Hollywood (the Rock). As a wrestling fan, Vince is a cunt. Without dudes like Gorilla around, he almost killed his own company. He only pushed dudes like Stone Cold and Foley because he had no other choice because WCW already signed anyone with a pulse. He then took the combined rosters of WWE and WCW and turned it into 20 years of John Cena and Roman Reigns.
