I mean to claim there even distinction between main eventers and mid card in AEW is disingenuous itself. Daniel Garcia gets world title matches. The TNT title looks like the main event belt some weeks. It's all thrown together in a blender there.

He seemed like one of the only professionals backstage not out for himself despite what it seemed like on TV. He wanted to present AEW as something bigger than a superindie. He's a better promoter than Tony and with Cody as cheerleader and PR/media guy it seemed like there was no limit. AEW is sorely missing someone like that who isn't a complete embarrassment.
