Absolutely not. He is another example of DBry's Yes shit mixed with the Kofi run. Basically an over chant that mark and nerds like ironically, and the "He deserves a push because he's been shit for two decades". His fucking gimmick doesn't even have a spin on it. All he does when he goes out there is try to say his catch phrase, he has no actual gimmick/personality. Worse still is that he flubs lines when his whole thing is based around his supposed promo skills.

No he doesn't. Pretending to be people you grew up watching and knew were over isn't a personality. It isn't even a gimmick. It's the start of trying to understand both. If people being in stables is a bad thing then you can look around at a bunch of other feds that are using them and not getting half of the results. Reigns is a heel, so if you're "sick of him" he's doing his job. This is the thing with smart fans, you get worked by meta shit but you still get worked nonetheless.

No but he can be a solid building block. He's got a good luck, good mic skills, can play the crowd, and is okay in the ring. He'll never be Cena or Austin but he can easily fill in as a midcard title holder or main event contender with no issue.

Most sensible post ITT. He shouldn't be the "face of the company" but who even gives a shit about that in a brand that sells almost entirely by its name? He's a solid guy to have floating in the upper card and main event scenes, but if you had to choose one guy, he's not it.

Honestly, yes. Normally if someone hates a guy, they root for the opponent, Cena haters didn't root for his opponents they rooted against him. He absolutely captivated the audience, he moved merch, he did great PR spots, and they could work him into the dirt, he correctly called the swap to PG content with his massive popularity among the kids guaranteeing even more merch sales. Cena was the perfect "The Guy".

NTA but Cena was a great face of the company up until his superman push got stale but it just kept going and going and going. He ended up driving more people away from WWE than anyone else in history. If somebody stopped watching wrestling between about 2007 and 2015 the odds are very high that they stopped watching it because of Cena specifically.
