>>12193263>1. AngleYes.
>2. DanielsonYes.
>3. BretYes.
>4. OkadaBorderline. Lacks physical charisma.
>5. EddieNo. Very good but is lionised due to dying early.
>6. StylesBorderline.
>7. RegalHe's my all time favourite but no. Master of the little details, very few wrestlers do that better, but there's lots of better wrestlers inc. technicians & far better athletes he's just a great detail guy who knows how to get the most out of everything, definition of hard work over pure skill.
>8. MalenkoUnbelievably overrated. The ZSJ of his day, a guy who does tons of holds but usually just blankly cycles through them with no emotion, rhythm or purpose, contributed massively to the shit choreographed dance style today.
>9. El SantoNot seen enough to judge as lucha isn't my thing
>10. OwenNo chance. Died tragically & avoidably & was part of a dynasty so is held in far higher regard than if he'd just retired. Poor man's Dynamite Kid.
>11. HBKBorderline lean towards yes because he was very good at smoke & mirrors stuff with his athleticism to make a minimal range routine seem better/bigger than it was, which is based.
>12. MisawaGood but not even the best pillar. Kawadas selling alone blows Misawa out of the water, Kobashi had better physical charisma & expressiveness. Misawa was moveset & match format.
>13. JerichoNot an AEWtist but yes. Incredible style chameleon who can reinvent endlessly, his work the last 5 years has been overrated by Meltzer but was underrated the prior 15.
>14. McGuinnessNot even close lmao
Savage, Flair, Steamboat, Hennig all ought to be on here. Dynamite & Benoit arguable.
Tanahashi is better than Okada, far more expressive.
Strong claim for Brock, total natural, people dunk on his recent format but he has the skill.
Claudio can't promo but is one of the best inring ever, seen him work every style- lucha, power, European technical, brawler, etc- & put on great, compelling matches. Bizarre he has so much physical charisma but cant promo.
