The one, single solitary thing he did wrong was airing out his grievances for no reason. Doesn't matter if you think he was in the right or in the wrong. I've worked for bosses and with colleagues I've wanted to kill. I've even sued past employers. But I never got on my soapbox and explained my personal issues on a quest for the validation of everyone (a recurring theme in CM Punk's career), which is perfectly explained by his obvious self-esteem issues. In addition to this flaw in his personal character, he has also proven himself as an unreliable, fractious, and fragile immovable obstacle that not even the most tranquil of people could work with. A pain collector who burns bridges for fun and jumps on every opportunity he has, so he can prove to himself and everyone else that he is correct about every single statement he makes and action he takes. Even though he was the most over wrestler in the entire company by a large margin and that he was basically keeping AEW relevant all by himself, he was still so impossible to get along with that he had to be fired by a man who could have just as easily sucked him off and paid Punk millions for the privilege. A tremendous talent with severe issues. I don’t hate or love Punk, I think he is a person worthy of pity who needs immediate and extensive mental help.
