I feel like AEW has burned a lot of these cities out with having to run so many shows.

You can only go to the well every so often, but they don't have much of a market to begin with.

Should have kept one of them to a hall or Daily's place to manage the touring losses that have bound to be mounting at this point.

People have been saying this for like the last year or so. It's partly nostalgia but still it would solve issues for them. TK is WAY too prideful to do that. We're talking about the same guy who refuses to pivot on storylines even with injuries.

They were not prepared for WWE actually getting better. AEW was always flawed, but it wasn't as apparent since the last few years of the Vince regime were absolutely atrocious and anything would have looked better in comparison. Now that Cunter is hitting home run after home run Tony has been caught with his pants down. He needs to make fundamental changes, or they will sink down to the level of TNA, maybe even lower.

I think NXT vs Dynamite really energized their fans and kept them engaged in the shows. Once NXT changed nights it was all downhill for them. Sure they got temporary bumps like when Bryan came in but bad booking just slowly drove people away and there was no more "you must watch this week to make sure the evil fed loses" to bring them back.
They're getting lower ratings now than they were when NXT was on the same night, it's really grim stuff
