i used to hate his booking in nxt but i think losing to aew humbled him and he got more of a clue on main roster, but theres still some bad old tendencies from those nxt days but they arent nearly as bad

And Russo was one of the guys pushing for him to get into the main event. Nothing to do with politicking.
