>>12220492>>12220606Ron Price started his wrestling career in 2004 competing in the northeast independents. His moniker in wrestling was “The Last Outlaw.” Price was a huge specimen standing 6ft 7in tall and weighing around 350 pounds. Ron’s journey to a WWE developmental contract is a pretty unusual one.
Price wasn’t scouted based on his skills as a wrestler, but rather his nickname. WWE management wanted to use his ‘Last Outlaw’ name to use on the Undertaker. The issue was, Price owned the rights to that name. WWE allegedly offered Price $30,000 to retrieve the nickname, but Price had a counter offer. In exchange for the name, Ron Price would accept a WWE developmental deal. The company accepted the offer and assigned Price to Florida Championship Wrestling in Tampa, Florida in 2010.
Price’s name was changed to the very generic ‘Ron Myers’ and was basically used as enhancement talent in FCW. He only wrestled in a total of three matches, before he was released from developmental. In total, Price earned a total of $6,000 for his time in FCW.
