>>12235600It costs money to drive production trucks around city to city, rent arenas, broadcast live tv, buy hotel rooms and book flights for the staff, etc. Just by adding Collision to their lineup they're now spending double what they used to. Around eighty million dollars a year just making the tv shows (and that's a lower end estimate) and that's before you factor in employee salaries and videogame costs and paying for advertising.
Sure the tv deal and the gates and merch sales and ppv buys mitigate this somewhat but ultimately they are losing money hand over fist and if they don't get a big increase in their tv rights they'll have to do some serious thinking on what to do next because AEW is not sustainable as things are
