I feel like I should, but I've always been afraid of finding something else. I'm reasonably adjusted, but I started reading on Howard Hughes and I kind of feel like that's how I'll go except with no wealth.

funnily enough SSRI’s and therapy contributed to me become a NEET shut in, before i started i was just a freak no one liked but the medicine and therapy made me very self conscious about it and i decided to hide because i couldn’t fix the problem. on one hand it’s one less stupid shithead ruining other people’s days on the other i’m getting very lonely.

This was the worst shit I've ever taken. It flatlined my emotions so while I couldn't feel horrible, I also couldn't feel good. It also erased my sense of consequence and guilt.
If anyone here is on SSRIs, get the fuck off them. I vividly remember when I was coming off this shit that music finally felt amazing to listen to again. I didn't even notice how little I was able to enjoy anything until I came off them.
Never taking anti-depressants again.

I took prozac for around a decade before I decided to stop cold turkey. The first year after going off it was great before the suicidal ideation came back and I went back on.

I do the same but I don't think they're psychotic or hallucinatory at all. Just a bit of anxious thinker with a loud inner monologue and visual thoughts. Maybe you too? Do the voices feel like they're an intrusive outside force? That it isn't actually your own and that they have control over you? If yes too either of those second questions you might want to investigate it cus that's a bad sign.

I had this when I quit weed. I had really intense and vivid dreams in a world of my own creation, I was basically some sort of demigod able to enact any sort of fantasy I wanted. I would return to the same dream each night, the world exactly as I left it, picking up where I left off. It was just like how they portray it in Inception. Lasted for a week or two.
