seems like once you are established, the idea of going to different cities just to work a 10-15 min match would seem like a chore, not to mention having to be at the venue all day too.

they supposedly get paid much better in wwe because they don't have to pay the tv production crew, but I remember recently there was some ruling that said they don't make dick no matter what they do

I remember Batista and Jericho talking about it on a podcast and saying they were more enjoyable than the live tv shows. More leeway to goof off or try new things, looser time cues, less agent interference etc.

yes but you make tons more for tv or ppv shows, so it seems like the wealthier guys would rather have those days off and stay home. They don't need the practice anymore anyways at their level.
