It was an interesting, first-time-ever gamble to bring in a female WWE star to generate international interest, and she did contribute to Stardom's biggest ever gate in April, but she hasn't been a draw for Rocky Romero, and those American NJPW dates are likely why Bushiroad took a chance on her in the first place. So it didn't move the needle, but I understand why they tried, and it's a less embarrassing piece of business than DDT hyping up Zack Ryder midcard title matches in 2023.

You know what would be really interesting? if they got Ronda. The wrestling culture is different over there with the worked shoot stuff, you've got things like UWF, IGF, Pancrase. I doubt she'd attract a crowd to the rinky dink NJPW Strong shows so they shouldn't even bother giving her an IWGP womens belt, but doing worked shooty stuff with some judo joshis would be an interesting experiment.

GLEAT does women's wrestling but they're new and their division is very thin, plus their UWF rules matches aren't as good as their normal wrestling stuff with all the Dragon Gate manlets. Ronda vs the big titty eel would be a very funny bad match, though.
