Not a single person in the world has ever seen Buddy Murphy on the card and gone, "I can't wait to see his match!" Like what is the point of Buddy Murphy? Why should anyone care about him. How the fuck is Tony supposed to book around a charisma blackhole like Buddy Murphy that kills the heat of anything he gets near?
Just to be clear, this isn't a Tony problem. WWE spent 8 years throwing anything against the wall to see if it would stick with him and nothing worked. NJPW tried to get Okada to give him the shine and it still fell flat. I don't think there is anything anyone can do to make this guy exciting. He just has natural loser energy and it comes through in every single thing he does.
Tony needs to cut the fat and if this personality vacuum is asking for it Tony should oblige.
