>>12253405It's a little more complicated than that. Fox was only outbid because the SD demo isn't large enough for them to charge advertisers what they need to break even. Fox overpaid for SD, which lead to them offering WWE a smaller amount than they offered 5 years ago.
Fox won because the money sink is off their hands now. USA needs to ask themselves, "will a show that had middling viewership on an OTA network improve on a network seen in fewer households?" Only time will tell.
