The two were operating on very different levels even just at the beginning of their run. That's probably the reason they kept May beyond the 3 months and not Xia as well. Mariah was visibly hungrier and putting in tons more effort, and that's not even to get into her singles matches. Xia came off disinterested and like she was just coasting. She was very sluggish in the ring and quite sloppy as well. It was embarrassing for her.
