1999 - His heel turn flops and he's ice cold, with no heat at all, slowly garnering go away heat
2000 - After he marries Stephanie, he gets the fans respect after Foley carries him at the Rumble, he's legitmately a top star from January 2000 through until Backlash, after which fans got sick of him again and wanted him to fuck off
2001 - Go away heat
2002 - WWE builds him up for months with tribute packages during a dimeless invasion angle where Austin Rock and basically everyone was ruined, he gets a huge pop and is over for the rest of the month before fans got sick of him again. That was the last time he was over
2018 - Years of running NXT rehabs his reputation completely and people revise history because of how much they appreciate how he managed that part of WWE
