Why are all wrestling owners complete self destructive autists? Vince, Crockett, Khan, Heyman, Cornette. All of these people did weird autistic things for no fucking reason. It’s only when the soulless corporations and faceless writers take over that things calm down

Vince did an incredible job for about 20 years and WWE dominated the wrestling business even after he lost his touch and his mind. It's still on top. He shouldn't be be compared to guys like Heyman, Crockett, Cornette, and Tony.

Not going to effortpost here but the TLDR is that Vince has always ran his business to focus on revenue which is what splits him from all other promoters who are marks. His first 20/30 years, his revenue came from live event + merch.
When WWE went public, his revenue was then based in stockholders and media rights, people should want very specific things in a specific way.
WWE grew its revenue by billions in the last 20 years. From a business standpoint, the PH Era and beyond are its golden age.
