In the Summer of 1992, Wrestler Kevin R. Nash sauntered through a shady alleyway, looking for one small comfort - a sweet cold yogurt parfait. He had heard the neighborhood was known for its excellent parfaits, so he thought nothing of heading down the back streets to get what he wanted.
But his journey to the sweet treat ended in an unthinkable horror. As he marched down the alley he was approached by a group of menacing looking black men. Reacting too late, he was seized before he could get away.
The men violently attacked and dragged him to the ground, where he was anally raped and humiliated. He endured the attack with pain and tears.
But, in the end, his horrific experience was strangely rewarded. After he was released, he stumbled on the parfait stand he had been searching for. Sore and humiliated, he got the treat he had wanted and forced a smile.
At that moment, Kevin R. Nash learned that even in the darkest of places, a small comfort could still be found.
