I found him boring in the ring and wooden on the mic, and the least interesting part of all feuds he was in. All push, imo.

who fucking cares? people talk about wrestlers like they're video game characters that have stats, oh so and so doesn't have enough points invested in the Promo skill. sometimes a wrestler can just be a huge badass looking ripped dude with an aura. there's more to the entertainment side of wrestling than dropping epic zingers on the mic like the fucking miz or whatever, and batista was obviously good at playing a character. he made it in hollywood for a reason

He didn't look like that in 2014 though. He himself said he was out of shape and not proud of his body at the time. He looked much better in 2019 even though he was 5 years older.
But yeah I agree he should've won. I wonder what the plans with Batista as World Champion over the summer were, because the Brock thing (Streak -> win belt in squash -> fight Roman) seemed pretty set in stone.
