Ishii is a great guy to have for a filler feud but he’s not important.

Ishii is massively overrated in terms of actual importance. He’s a great worker but that’s basically it. Beyond a few title matches with guys who actually draw, he’s never been placed in prominent spots on the card where he’s expected to carry the company because he just isn’t that guy.
