Tony isn't losing enough money per year to care. The interest/capital gains alone on his family fortune can keep the company running indefinitely.

That's explains:
the lack of full-screen commercials (most are PiP)
the lack of advertising (a la AAA/CMLL/etc)
signing big name free agents and barely using them
paying tens/hundreds of thousands for music licensing that gets like 2 decibels higher cheers
renting huge arenas despite never coming close to sellout

The man simply doesn't need profits or even to close the gap on his losses. As long as his fan-fiction is airing on national TV, he's happy as a clam - and the only 'loss' is his billions of dollars family fortune only growing by 10% a year instead of 15%.

Hes just not a good writer, he doesn't know how to make compelling storylines. Weekly wrestling shows are ultimately another TV show that needs good writing to keep people interested. Just having "banger after banger" isn't enough especially when people are getting tired of AEWs repetitive match formulas already
