Maybe Tony thinks it enhances the story if MJF does the same 8 vaults but "oh no his ankle is weak" which it evidently isn't.
Maybe MJF doesn't give enough of a fuck to tell Tony off anymore and he wants out.
Maybe it is ringing through to people that MJF was never actually that good a wrestler (inexperience brother, it'll come) and that his heel promos got him over, and that babyface MJF is arguably one of the most unlikeable babyfaces in the business today.
Some guys have that issue where they are brilliant one way but can't possibly function the other way.
