>AZM (21) of women's wrestling 'Stardom' is eager to reunite with her mentor, WWE women's champion Iyo Sky (Io Shirai).
>She announced her challenge to the STRONG Women's Championship held by Giulia at the Osaka event on November 18, banging out an overseas expansion. Having reached the 10th anniversary of her debut in October this year, she revealed: 'When I thought about where I'm going to aim next, I've never left Japan, so I thought I wanted some experience overseas.
>There is another reason too. 'My classmate, Kairi-chan [Kairi Sane, now in WWE], has gone to America again, and I want to meet Iyo.'
>In 2017, she joined Queen's Quest, which is led by Iyo. The special move La Mistica (variant armpit hold) was also taught by Iyo. Iyo is a god to me. Before Iyo went to WWE, I read an article somewhere that said 'AZM is amazing. She's just not up to par with her age at the moment, she's going to get stronger, so I want her to do well', and I almost cried. She is the one who gave me the opportunity to grow," she recalls.
>I was a junior high school student when I worked with Iyo, but not now. Last year, she was crowned High Speed champion for the second time. She has made great strides, setting a record for the most consecutive defences, V12.
>In the past, when we were tag-team partners, I was full of the feeling of trying not to embarrass Iyo-san, but now I can stand sideways and diagonally with confidence. But first, I'm going to win this belt and show Iyo-san that I've grown so big!" . I will show off the proof of my growth in front of my master.
