I just saw my first wrestling match last night (NWA) and thought it was pretty cool. Not completely sold but I’m considering giving wrestling a shot. So I have a couple of questions.
1. What’s the main draw? It’s largely fake so what keeps people watching it? Do you pretend to believe it? Is it the behind the scenes drama? Is it the stories?
2. Which organization should I watch? I thought NWA was cool, but after doing some research it appears that almost everyone says it’s shit and one of the worst ones. I kind of like the small budget, small audience feel of it, and while I know WWE is the biggest and most popular I find it to be pretty cringey. I guess I prefer the more old school kind of wrestling.
3. Where do you go to watch it? Is there a specific app? Do you have to pay for every single show on PPV? Doesn’t that ending costing a shit ton of money?
