I hear people say her matches haven't been great lately, but outside of the Ruby Soho match (which was entirely on Soho) they've been okay. Willow isn't amazing and had no impact or energy in her match with Shida. Emi Sakura vs Shida got no time to build towards anything (though it could have been a decent little story for Full Gear) and then had to have their match in under 8mins. The Abadon match, on the other hand, was really entertaining. I have to ask, what can Shida do if she is pushed into meaningless matches with obvious outcomes, no stakes or drama, and no follow-through stories? She won the belt, but there were no plans for her.
