WWE is losing steam with no Bloodline-level storylines, and AEW is picking up momentum with top free agent signings and more PPVs. Expect a 2021 run from both companies soon.

OP here, the evidence is lower ticket sales for WWE, similarly taking longer to "sell out" PPVs compared to when Roman/Bloodline was at its apex. As for AEW, it's undeniable that the free agent signings are an optics nightmare for WWE. The latter is no longer the "place to be." Additionally, Full Gear had 13K tickets sold, and over 100K PPV buys, which are both increases of the same measurement from previous shows this year.

But ticket sales have always slowed down during this time of year for WWE. Amd previously you stated storylines as a reasonable for their slowing momentum. Wouldn't that mean that starting January when they begin ramping up with the Rumble and heading into Mania their storylines and by default their momentum would be on the upswing? While AEW would be attempting to introduce new ppvs into a 4-6 ppv system that the fanbase preferred to the overstuffed wwe 12 ppv model and obviously struggling with it since it requires them to restructure how their storyline are worked currently?
