WWE could easily fill 4,000 seat smaller arenas on the outskirts of town, but that means 2-5k fans missing out, less room for trucks/equipment/stage, etc. The regular WWE attendance is in the 7-10k range for TV, a bit lower for House shows.
AEW on the other hand is running 20k arenas and drawing 3-5k fans. They aren't even coming close to filling 100-level seating, let alone 200/300-level. Tony should eat the humble pie and book smaller arenas - and also give a handful of stars new themes with more crowd-involvement stuff (Angle/You Suck, Cody, Judas, etc). If they're going to insist on Workrate > Entertainment from bell to bell, the least they could do is give the fans a chance to sing along and FILL the entire arena.
