they were both good for different reasons. danielson and omega had huge hype for two of the best finally going head to head, and also the hype of the first grand slam. christian and omega on paper was just another leg on kenny's belt collection tour which just happened to be an great match.

that was the last gasp (I was there live btw).

the welcome party sat & sun was an absolute amateur shit show. the stadium wasn't just full of UK people but europe & americans.

despite the attendance numbers, the costly travel & accommodation, aew put the card together 3 weeks to go, multiman borefest & the live "spectacle" -wasn't.

any random dynamite would've been 90% cheaper & 150% a better live experience for anyone who went.

now they're booking a year out. I would've bother going again.

Even if you're right, the first match between Omega and Christian got the crowd really hyped.
It was a TV match but it got PPV tier reactions from the crowd.
I don't know if I would say that it was AEW peak, but it's defitenly up there in the best moments

It's really obvious that Moxley is a massive politicker backstage and purposely hid Bryan in the shit stable to keep his spot, same with refusing to job to Punk. No one talks about it.
