The average age of wrestlers is increasing not because of a lack of young talent, but an advancement in both medical knowledge and technology that allows wrestlers to have longer shelf lives. Without stem cells, guys like Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio and Edge to name a few would have all been forced to retire years ago. Hogan went to WCW at 40 and started the nWo at 43. Savage still had some good years left. Piper. Mysterio had a resurgence at 45. Lesnar and Lashley are still beasts. It's not the end of the line and the medical side is only getting better.
