But on the other hand this implies theyre doing insane numbers on streaming, which I doubt is happening considering crowd size is consistently 2-5 for TV tapings and 5-10 for PPVs

For the same reason WWE is having record profits despite the fact their ratings are less than half of what they used to be.

Viewers are harder than ever to get, so the broadcasters consider each individual viewer more valuable.

With that said, AEW has literally not made a cent of profit yet. Wrestlenomics broke it down not too long ago.
