That g2a site had WWE 2K23 on sale for $11 so I picked it up. AEW Fight Forever was still 40-something dollars so I said forget that.

I liked 2k 23 but all the jobbers burying my finishers and not being able to do hardly any springboard moves is lame

sounds like youre just shit buddy. play like normal but spear the partner a couple times, switch to inactive and throw the partner through an announce table, switch back hit a finisher and get the pin. takes 5 minutes tops

Fire Pro is my main, thousands of hours clocked. Create and sim, sim and create. Wrestling, MMA, boxing, gunfights, superpowers, anything you can dream up. Fire Pro is love/hate because it gives you so much control, but RNG can randomly turn a jobber into the Ultimate Warrior.

Fire Pro is good, this WWE 2K23 though, it's on a different level. I figured to try it out I'd crank all the graphics to max and watch a CPU War Games match before I played a match.
Everything about it is next level.

2k23 does look amazing, and I hear they added CPU logic inspired by FP and VPW2 (N64). 2k23 and Red Dead are top of the list soon as I get a decent PC.

Unblockable moves and stamina being tied to if you can get off a reverse is retarded. Sitting there for 10 minutes waiting to get up to a fishers reversal is honestly exhausting if it didnt look so good in motion. Dont get me started on the legend difficulty, the fact you cant have it in GM mode is incredibly telling.

gameplay wise its a mixed bag, some part is better in 2k23 some part is better in 2k19
graphics wise 2k23 is way better, looking back 2k19 looks like crap overshadowed only by 2k20
2k19 have the better roster tho

They removed mods in 2k23 so I'm not buying it. Gonna keep with 2k22 or go back to 2k19 if I need to, since I like making dumb stuff and I like having music for entrances.

I've been playing random exhibition matches by myself with the sound muted and listening to podcasts just so me and my buddies can have fun with a full roster.

Was this game designed by incels for incels? I don't get this philosophy at all. I'd love it if I could play a couple of matches and then decide who we should unlock next.

I usually go into settings and turn finisher and weapon damage up to max. makes it more risky for everyone involved and finishers actually do damage. no idea why they have it so low by default.
