Give it to me straight. Does anyone still give a fuck about the bucks, because it has gotten to the point I have to actively try not to hate them. Not in like a "oh they have heat with me and make me angry" kinda way but like "these guys are annoying and stupid, I wonder what else is on," kinda way. I have to will myself not to change the channel every time the Bucks are on tv and it low key makes me angry that I am forcing myself to have to do that. It sours the rest of the show.

I liked them in Daily's Place era AEW and a couple of their indie matches, but, I'm basically in the same boat as you. I also feel like they do drag whoever their with down.

Bro you have no idea how much I miss the tunnels. It is such a small thing, but it made AEW different. I know it was just stage shit, but I could tell myself that the two wrestlers weren't just chilling in the back a few minutes ago and were instead in different places planning out how they were going to beat each other.

It is such a small thing, but it changed the presentation of the entire promotion.

The only time I ever enjoyed a match with these two faggots in it was the time they got the shit kicked out of them by Bryan Danielson and Roderick Strong. It was a good match and then the two little homos decided to try and get sympathy heat by telling everyone how violated they felt. I decided then and there that nothing they ever do will have value and I have yet to be proven wrong.

I saw one match they did that was actually, and unironically giga based. It was in 2016 or 2017. I was looking at some street shitter wrestling streaming site and just clicked some random link. It led to a ladder match with these two faggots and two jabronis that was violent, dangerous, and had loads of color. It was unironically great and had me marking out for these two for a week until I saw other matches they had been in.

Bro it was when I had just come back to wrestling after like a decade. I can try looking it up on cagematch, but I have a pretty good feeling someone will jump in here and post it before I can. I think it might have been RoH because I was on a lot of gear at that time and I would specifically watch wrestling while I lifted. There was this Silas guy, I think Young, who got me really hyped since he was a big guy, an ex-drug addict, and had become a wrestler in his 30s in spite of it all that made me want to get into wrestling

I think possibly. They seem like more convincing assholes than good guys, which isn't exactly the best indictment of their character going off Heyman's method of making a convincing character, but how nice or mean they are doesn't matter as much in the long run when you're a pro wrestler.

The point is suspension of disbelief. Allowing the audience to actually get invested in the match and believe that there is a meaningful difference and that the outcome actually matters. If you are autistic none of that matters, but if you are normal and just looking for a good show that is where the money is.

Maybe if they came out from opposite sides of the arena, but modern wrestling has to have that big dumb stage. Look, I am not addressing this to anyone in particular. I have been on 4chan for a very long time. I honestly believe I am the last person left for originally came over from SA 20 years ago.

I have seen irony, meta bullshit, and post modernism applied to basically every possible thing you could imagine and it never works out beyond a really short term gain. Soon or later even the dumbest mark notices that it doesn't actually mean anything and it derivative and parasitic.

If I was a professional wrestler who made his career off of ironic deconstructions of the business that fed my family I would be real nervous right now. I wouldn't be getting butthurt at people trying to tell me how it is, instead I would be thinking how I could gracefully transition from my previous work into something with some legs. If I had a back stage roll I would work real hard to protect it, but a money mark who is panicking might try to push me back into the ring. If that was happening I certainly wouldn't default back into what I used to do since that would expose me, and for sure date me as someone whose gimmick was old and completely played out.

Take that as you will from a brain damaged old head that tried to get himself over and flamed out a long long time ago.

I don't. They are just Shawn Michaels cosplayers with attitude problems. The only match I have ever seen with them that I completely enjoyed and was able to mark out to was them vs FTR II. Largely because FTR put it together and I didn't want to see the Bucks with all the non-AEW tag gold.
