In fact Tony has been shitting on Japan since the start of AEW back when he scooped important guys like Kenny and co (money talks, bullshit walks), NJPW tries to build Jay White as a relacement then Tony takes him too, only to shit on him. He does NJPW vs AEW feuds only for NJPW to lose 90% of the matches.
If Tony had his way Ospreay would not be in the UK or in NJPW, Tony just thinks Ospreay is totally valuable, even though his value is unproven.
