I know it's one of those things where someone in the back likes him, but Ridge is just going to be a midcard guy on his own. Butch won't be much better off. Splitting them up will accomplish nothing.

Not really no. They tried it before with LDF and it didn't get over on the main roster. Now they're just trying it again on his own and it'll go about the same. The LWO was the highest placement any of them are going to get on the card and now they pissed that all away. Could've just turned Carlito and kept the rest of them together as faces to feud with him. Maybe I'm wrong and I hope I will be but it feels very short sighted and a big step backwards for him
