First memory is when Goldberg defeated Hogan for the WCW title in July 1998. Later that year my aunt bought me some nWo wolfpac merch for Christmas and I started watching Nitro regularly. I was into red facepaint Sting but this was around the time he started worshipping Jesus so most Mondays was me waiting for him to return but him never showing up. I missed the whole nWo vs Sting storyline.
Kept watching WCW until they were bought out, missing all of the Attitude Era. I remember emailing Dave Scherer in 2001 when I was like 12 asking if Sting was going to come to WWE. I actually liked the Invasion angle. First live show was early 2002 when Vince McMahon was doing the lethal dose of poison storyline and turned around in the chair with nWo on it. Wrestlemania 18 was like the peak of my interest in wrestling. Was cool when Goldberg and Steiner returned too.
Watched TNA Bound for Glory in 2005 because I was starting to get sick of WWE. Could never get into TNA though. 2006 was cool when Edge cashed in his MITB on Cena to win the title. The ECW show was cool that summer too. By 2007, I was really sick of them pushing Cena. The DX return was lame too. Jericho returning was a disappointment. I think I stopped watching completely sometime after WM in 2008. Have zero memory of anything in 2009, 2010, or 2011.
Watched again pretty consistently from 2012 with Cena vs Rock to Wrestlemania 30. CM Punk was what kept me around for a couple of years. Didn't care about any of the Sheild dudes after they broke up. Bray Wyatt sucked. NXT sucked. Have watched a few PPVs sporadically since then like when Seth Rollins almost killed Sting. Went to a house show a couple of months ago for the first time in like 15 years.
