Tony took control in January 2020 and the build to Revolution 2020 was arguably the best build in the company history. I don't know if he still had 100% creative control during the pandemic because Cody was booking his own universe.

producers for matches? i assume jerry lynn must have helped with the texas deathmatch. as for women they have madison and sarah that help out but also some men produce womens matches as well. btw the 2 best womens matches in aew were produced by that 1 guy that got fired for domestic abuse. the irony

There's goofy storylines and then there's bad storytelling. AEW currently has both.
Like the Swerve home invasion, that's a silly story, but if they followed it up immediately and logically, it would be more tolerable. Instead Hangman came out for a match the next week like nothing happened, then the next week Swerve had a match where Hangman was banned from ringside (punished for having his home invaded), and it wasn't until the week after that where they had a good follow-up segment.
This also applies to the MJF storylines.

So random wrestlers are booked once a month just to keep them less angry, meanwhile half the card is a start-stop pattern

Main belt, main event scene, is the overarching storyline between both dynamite and collision
>TNT title
A “storyline” belt for mic guys like Christian & Starks. Not everyone is going to be able to compete for the world title so they can go here while they wait for the main event storylines to play out or get more over before going after the the WT
>Intercontinental title
The “workhorse” title where it’s just pure wrestling, storylines are extremely simplistic & don’t rely so much on doing story heavy work like the TNT or WT. This is where the luchadors, Takeshita, Danielson sometimes, go

A huge problem with AEW is it’s just not organized at all, creating exclusive divisions helps contain the all over the place feel

i think a main problem is that tony deals with so much shit; fullham, jaguars, aew, roh. take into account that hes sleep deprived, hes mind isnt working to its full extent. i think only jericho and bryan and maybe mox can actually get through to him.

Spoil of riches of sorts. I experienced similar thing myself when I had discovered virtually all of the entertainment archives are available digitally. But I didnt take my time with each category and started taking on all the world's stage, all at once.

My desktop was littered with icons I had forgot even existed.

Honestly not a bad post for once. Would be unique if a wrestling company did have very specific divisions with their own exclusive stipulations and conditions. The international title could be the title that is based around tournaments but the TNT title is the one where you get those over the top match types like street fights or the parking lot brawls.

He needs to step away altogether. He doesn't understand. He has JR, he has Arn, he has Jerry Lynn, Jarrett, Sonjay, Jacobs. Every single aspect of the live show is run badly. They need to get proper professionals running all of it. They need production meetings, they need to make the producers control the matches and punish people for spamming highspots and going over their time. They need to hammer the announcers for spending the whole show making weird inside jokes instead of pushing the TV content. Whoever was running Collision when it was good needs to take over. Whoever were in charge of that show at that time can take over.
