I agree he has good fundamentals and presence but without finesse. They devolve into that Malachai Black territory too much. It's probably not all his fault, but whoever writes the lines has watched too many Marvel movies.
It's difficult to explain it without going on too long about it myself, but something in the lines of: "brevity is the soul of wit" and actually stating your goals, even vaguely to keep it fresh on the audience instead of going "It's the cards! It's fate", "Tick tock", "We do this x for z because something we won't tell now" would improve the situation or due by now.
