If Punk had any intention to shoot on AEW he would've done it shortly after his firing. Yet he didn't. No lawsuit materialized either. So I suspect he either got some non-disparagement deal worked out with Tony Khan, or he figured getting mired in a lawsuit against AEW would harm his chances of returning to WWE.
