And honestly there is actually more meat on the bone of the shield connection to have him feud with Roman because of Paul Heyman. But I also have zero interest in that because Roman is never going to lose the title until he is either hurt, wants to take an extended break, the rock returns, or they find the next "guy"(which isn't Cody. He's eating the pin at WM40).
So what else is there, his old promos and character wouldn't really fit. Triple HHH is infinitely better than Vince and Roman/Bloodline stories have been good. He would just seem like a bitter loser to complain about the direction of the company and not being able to be "the guy".
