The difference here is that AEW is not best picture or best box office. It's lower box office and worse, because the wrestling media complex is somehow even worse and more brainlet than the vidya review industry.
You're conflating popular being often bad with unpopular meaning good. The truth is AEW is both not particularly popular AND dog shit.
I'd say NJPW would be the go-to for patricians but even that has been ass lately so WWE might genuinely be the most consistent ticket in town, which is strange to say.
