>>12476845Nah, this was a clear one-off feud. Truth brought it, and should've stayed in the main event scene after a while, but WWE was in the middle of a big build to Cena/Rock and Punk was about to surprise everyone. Would've been a mistake.
Not a slight on R Truth in any way. He was gold here. It just wasn't the right call to put him over in this match. If anything, between this and the Punk match, Cena proves that he brings out the best in his opponents even with bullshit WWE main event writing. Mark Henry, Byran, even Ryback,all came out better in their feuds with Cena as well.
