Unironically I'd say they do. Shida is approaching washed up stage, Riho is never in America, Emi Sakura is almost a pensioner. I think Yuka is moving to the States in 2024 but AEW needs some Stardom tier joshis instead of Teej tier.

Giulia would also be the same age as Shida when she joined AEW and yes you are right. AEW needs to start building up their next crop of joshi. Mei will probably get considered given her relation to Emi/Riho/Shida and that shes wrestled there a few times already.
